Las Vegas: After School Art Class - Fall Session II

This is a 6 week session that meets on Wednesdays, October 23rd - December 4th from 2:15 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. (No class on November 27th) These art classes are offered to students in grades 1st - 5th who attend Vassiliadis Elementary School. This session will focus on seasonal imagery. Students will create 3 masterpieces. Students will start by discussing how artists use seasonal themes and imagery for inspiration to make artworks. They will explore fall leaves and lines by creating a masterpiece using black ink and learn how to paint with markers. The second project will focus on the fall harvest season with students creating a moonlit pumpkin patch using oil pastels. The final project will get students excited about the winter season by creating a winter landscape using pen & ink with liquid watercolor paints.

Additional Information: Students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to enjoy during the first 10 minutes of class. Please refrain from packing snacks that contain nuts since there are a couple of students with severe allergies to nuts also attending  these classes. No refunds after October 23rd. Refunds issued will  forfeit a $10 transaction fee. Make-up classes will not be held. If your child misses a class every effort to help them get caught up and complete the project will be made. By registering for these art classes you are granting permission for your child's artwork and possibly your child's photograph to appear on my website and socail media accounts. Student names will not be used and your personal information will not be shared.
